So if the Son makes you free,
you will be free indeed. (John 8:36)
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord
is, there is liberty. (2 Cor. 3:17)
Banish immorality! (1 Cor. 6:18)
There is bondage and compulsion of exceedingly unusual nature; namely, bondage that cannot be broken in the way we normally go about it. There is bondage that is so strong that it cannot be overcome through prayer, nor through faith alone, neither through our proclaiming the blood of Jesus, nor in secluding or by castigating ourselves, neither through fasting, nor by exorcism and not even through walking in the organic stream. This message is about these types of bondage. And because they are so insurmountable, they also have the power to render their victims in various ways indifferent, helplessly lamed or utterly resigned. Even so, there is no such thing as the one pat solution for everythingand yet there is indeed a pat solution for everything!
I love testimonies of newly converted children of God. There is something sweet about them, just as there is something sweet about new born babies and new born animals. How joyfully and free, for example, they preach: Accept Jesus and everything will be alright again. Just believe in Jesus and all your problems will be solved. Although every-day-life strongly teaches us that in practice it is not that easy, nevertheless, I wished that we could again become like these children with their simple-hearted testimonies. You know, sin and bondage can be likened to the defects of cars. Basically as a rule, even for a number of defects, only a single mechanic is required. Yet we must constantly allow him to have access to the different sides of our vehicle. When I was still working as an auto mechanic, the customers would often stand beside their cars and advise me on what I was to do or not to do. However, generally speaking, I as a specialist already knew what I needed to do.
Are you suffering at the hand of bondage and compulsion which until now, neither you nor anyone else has been able to overcome? Just as with a car, where there are various possibilities that may cause it not to run well or even prevent it from running altogether, so it is also with the sins and bondage of people. Just as with a broken car or any other technical appliance, there is no universal antidote, e.g., a universal paste, with which it can be repaired. In the same way, overcoming sin, bondage and compulsion cannot be done by means of a universal antidote. Yet that is what we consistently desire. The only universal antidote that really exists in the spiritual realm against sin, dependency, addiction etc is actually only Jesus. Even though He is the only single competent mechanic, there are still countless and various paths that we need to take to lead us to the solutions. Concerning your bondage and compulsion, are you ready to let Jesus be the mechanic at each point and for each and every type of defect on your vehicle, or do you belong to those customers who constantly dictate what He is supposed to do or not to do?
Finally, before we specifically begin
considering conflict management, I would still like to testify that
every Christian who does not steadily and actively inquire after the
Spirit is doomed to eternal failure and languishing. If today you are
willing and able to flow along with this message and this Rhema and
thereby experience great success in your deliverance, I would plead
with you in advance not to go out straight away and proclaim this way
as a universal balm. It is possible that in your specific
situation you experienced it as a cure-all, yet in order to overcome
other constellations of sin there are still innumerable other ways to
the solution. The only thing that is essential over and over again, in
every single case, is that the Spirit can indeed be Lord. This means:
Be all ears and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit wherever He may
lead you. Trust Him to be the only competent mechanic who in His
own manner gives the release in your life and helps you to get moving
again.
Bondage through Eye Contact and Touching
There
are types of bondage in the spiritual life that can be caused by mere
eye contact and others through touching. I will explain this by an
illustration from the animal kingdom. One day, I was going for a prayer
walk across the fields when I met a dog. I was not aware of the fact
that it did not have a master and was searching for a home. As it
pitifully looked at me, I gave it a glance and a smile. This
immediately gave it a reason to try getting closer to me and jumping on
me. Somehow I felt sorry for the poor thing and patted it on the head
and spoke kind words like: little doggy, good dog , and from
that very moment it happened. It took my gentle stroking to mean full
commitment to be its new master, and from that point I could no longer
get rid of it. It followed me wherever I went, sprung on me and would
no longer leave my side. Since we happened to be on vacation and were
staying on the ground floor, it became a bondage with rather distinct
consequences. We could not get rid of this animal. Whenever we were
eating, it would be sitting and begging right under the table; whenever
we would go for a walk, it would be wagging right beside us, and when
we wanted to get some rest, it would whimper and bark and jump all
around us. The prayer walk during my quiet time the dog understood to
be a time of taking it for a walk to ease itself and other such things.
This small example typologically explains how some types of
bondage in the spirit function. In the case of this dog, nothing at all
could help. There are molestations that can not be gotten rid of by praying
nor by having faith. Calling on the blood of Jesus in
this case is not effective. Even though we did not give the dog
anything to eat, it still would not depart from our side. With certain
types of bondage, even our fasting is of no avail. We could try to
drive it away and even try to simply dedicate ourselves to our common
stream: it was always there, watching us and bothering us. Once, two of
my sons went to the extent of putting it in the car and driving a few
kilometers away and letting it out in some fields and then driving back
home. Within less than an hour, it was standing right there and had
found its home again. Perhaps for the first time I could now
understand what I had never really understood in those mission
countries. There was hardly a single mission country where stones were
not thrown at dogs. During our vacation, I indeed realized that there
were only two options of getting rid of this animal: either we would
have to bombard it with stones and kick it in the backside or we would
have to get into the car and move out. Since we are not people who
would torture animals, we opted for the second solution and began
packing our belongings into the car at the end of our vacation. The dog
was always in the way in all that we were doing. When the last piece of
luggage had been loaded and I had told all the children to get in the
car, naturally the animal wanted to jump in as well. However, since
this was impossible, we were forced to push it out of the car as fast
as possible and to shut the door in its face. That was a difficult
moment: the animal sat whimpering and howling in front of our car and
looked at us so pitifully that ones heart could break.
Banish Immorality!
Perhaps you have already noticed that I did not translate 1
Cor. 6:18a, Flee from immorality! as
is normally done, but as banish
immorality! Due
to the spiritual reality that is reflected, I would prefer this
translation to the conventional version. In regard to sin, we are not
guaranteed the possibility of being able to flee in every given
situation. The word pheùgoo,
like most Greek words is
expressed by quite a wide range of meaningsranging from
run away, escape, avoid, be inapplicable,
live in exile to even the meaning to be accused. Since 1Cor.
6:18a
is in the imperative mood of the present tense in the active form, we
could even translate it this way: impeach immorality! or take
action against immorality! However, considering the spiritual
reality it is supposed to reflect, this latter version would be too
one-sided. For this reason, I prefer the version: Banish
immorality! as the better translation. A person can banish
immorality either passively or actively. Passively by fleeing it, which
is basically always the first and biblical way, but when it does not
leave us alone and continues to follow us just like that dog, then we
must denounce it and banish it. It is not by chance that the Holy Bible
mentions dogs in connection with sexual sins
(Ps.22:16, 20
1
; 2Pet. 2:22
2
).
Dog can also be translated an impregnated animal. Dogs
express exactly the same behavioral patterns observed with
lasciviousness and with the sin of sexual immorality. It is precisely
for this reason that I would like to use this very example of bondage
to sexual immorality in order to demonstrate the divine solutions. The
same principle as shown in them will then also be applicable to all
other sins as well.
What we need to basically acknowledge right from the outset is that even the way we are to tackle sin has to be done according to a divine legal procedure. What I mean is that, for example, it is not always the right time to rebuke sin, to accuse it or to scream at the devil etc. What virtually seems incomprehensible for us is the fact that God even treats the devil himself with scrupulous fairness and in justice. Thus the Scriptures do not, for instance, allow us to mock evil principalities (2 Pet. 2:10 3 ) , even though the Lord on the other hand orders us to cast out demons etc. By the example of Jesus, we can see how He dealt fairly with the devil in the desert. Only when he, spiritually speaking, stepped on His toes, did He begin to seriously rebuke him. From Rev. 20 we can learn that, after the devil will have been bound for a thousand years, God even lets him loose again, in order to treat him justly. He does not immediately throw him into the lake of fire. This is exactly how we as well should confront sin of every kind.
I will cite the example of the dog once more to demonstrate what I mean. Let the dog represent the sin of sexual immorality. If I should encounter it totally unexpected on the open street, irrespective of the form in which it appears, and I do not want to be at the mercy of this sin, it will depend firstly on my avoiding any eye contact with this dog. Just as dogs can be different, it is also so with the sin of sexual immorality. It all depends to which kind of the different evil spirits it is bound. You cannot get rid of certain abandoned dogs once you have touched or stroked them. With others just a mere look is enough for them to think that they are already in a marriage contract with you. So the first and most basic way of dealing with sin is that it does not merit any eye contact with us at all. If it stares at us pitiably, we have to look away, and by so doing we escape. What would not at any rate be appropriate towards a stray, abandoned dog that is only trying to catch our eye, is to throw stones at it, to give it a kick in the backside and in so doing chase it away. This would not be right before God. However, in this sense there are Christians who with every sign or mere presence of sin immediately begin a raging battle inwardly. Figuratively speaking they immediately fling heavy stones against every spirit of sexual immorality and thereby release nothing but one gigantic barking and yapping. No wonder the sin then begins to actually attack and bite them. Instead of getting rid of it they will surely become more involved with it. This is similar to the case of a reaction toward a merely suspicious man at whom you wrongly throw stones in order to repulse him, although he has not really done anything to you. This is why the first fundamental instruction of the Bible is: Flee from immorality! Avoid all eye contact with it. Take a huge detour around it. This basically applies to every other kind of sin that we could mention here. If it follows you, do not even look at it, rather begin to flee. Run away from it, shun it, escape from it, and elude it! However, if it follows you and jumps on you in the way certain dogs actually do, and you realize that even fleeing is impossible, since the dog is running after you and probably considers you to be its new playmate, then the other side of pheùgoo becomes relevant. Then begin to rebuke the sin, to accuse it and to banish it! Now and again the sin can go so far that we must get help from others or, in extreme cases, from a specialized counselor to help pull away this dog from our body. Moreover, there is a bondage to sin which, even after an experienced counselor has tried to tear off such a dog from our body, will still not leave our side.
So
far, we have spoken about the battle against sin at the imaginary,
spiritual, invisible level. In addition to that, we also have spoken
about dealing with sin at the material level. However, on top of that
there is also the battle with sin, which is connected with personal
realities and must therefore also be fought out in the visible sphere,
directly and face to face with the persons involved.
Dross
Your silver
4
has become dross, your choice wine
5
diluted with water.(Is. 1:22)
Take away the dross from the silver, and there comes out a vessel for the smith; Take away the wicked before the king, and his throne will be established in righteousness. (Prov. 25:4-5)
Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to Me; all of them are bronze and tin and iron and lead in the furnace, they are the dross of silver. Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, ˜Because all of you have become dross, therefore, behold, I am going to gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. As they gather silver and bronze and iron and lead and tin into the furnace to blow fire on it in order to melt it, so I will gather you in My anger and in My wrath and I will lay you there and melt you. (Ezek. 22:18-20)
What we have dealt with up to now is essentially nothing new. Now, however, we turn to a dimension of being chained to sin, which the Bible calls dross. With regard to this dross, the usual basic ways and means of purifying are not sufficient. Dross must be removed from us in a most special procedure.
In the following I will speak of two different kinds of dross. In order to avoid repeating myself, I will only delve into that kind of release from the sort of bondage which no longer takes place at a purely imaginary or invisible level of faith. We will now speak of bondage the cause of which is to be found not only at a material level but also straight down at a personal one and which therefore is to be tackled from person to person and in context with persons. Spiritually speaking, wherever we are turned into dross, the bondage is so strong and so interwoven with our whole nature that none of the otherwise effective customary ways of cleansing and deliverance which usually work would function. Dross is, first and foremost, a form of defilement.
During my training to become a car mechanic I learned very well to recognize what dross is really about. We had to work many parts of iron over and over again: sawing, filing, grinding, polishing, welding etc. It is thereby astonishing how one can give iron such a high polish that it almost looks like a mirror. However, whenever we had to weld, e.g., electrically, dross was formed on the surface of the melted steel, which stuck to the welding seam, so to speak, like armor. Though one could cleanse and polish the steel before the welding seam was applied with all sorts of cleansers, it was impossible after the welding to get at the impurity caused by the dross with any customary cleanser.
As always, there was
only one single way left to handle this, namely, with a tempered steel
pick hammer. With its sharp top, one had to aim at the weld and hit it
hard. It was only by this means that this dross-amor was chipped off
little by little from the weld. The steel would appear underneath just
like the steel next to the welding seam. It could once again be worked
and polished with any customary means. In the same way, there is also
bondage which cannot be broken by any other means except aggressive
action, fighting and resistance.
Baal of Peor
During the
time of Moses, when the people began to get themselves involved in
sexual immorality with the daughters of Moab, throwing themselves
before their gods and worshipping the Baal of Peor, the Lords anger
burned against Israel. And the Lord said to Moses: ˜Take all
the leaders
of the people and execute them in broad daylight before the LORD, so
that the fierce anger of the LORD may turn away from Israel. So
Moses said to the judges of Israel, ˜Each of you slay his men who
have joined themselves to Baal of Peor! (Num. 25:4-5) Due
to the whoring with Baal of Peor, the god of sexual immorality, God
gave them over to it and the people fell in bondage. As a result of
this bondage, all the people were virtually enslaved to this idol of
sexual immorality. They were driven by it, possessed by lust and there
was no longer any normal way of removing the sin of whoredom from them.
When the whoring had reached its climax, God sent a plague among the
people, and just as this sin of immorality could not be stopped by
ordinary means, neither could this plague. Whereas Aaron during the
rebellion of Korah, as stated in
Num. 16:48
6
, could
still stand with his censer in his hand between the dead and the living
to make atonement in order to stop the plague, this was not possible in
the case of Baal of Peor. This time, no incense, no blood
of the Passover as was the case during the Passover night,
no national fasting
as it was during the time of Esther, or Jehoshaphat when he went to
battle against the Amorites, could be of any help. In the face of the
sin of Baal of Peor no Jahaziel could arise and exclaim: Do
not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle
is not yours but Gods. (2 Chron. 20:15) Against this spirit
of sexual immorality and the plague connected with it, none of those
usually effective cardinal goods of salvation were of any avail. No
faith could bring about any deliverance, nor could self-chastisement.
And if the entire nationlike in Joshuas timehad marched
around the walls of Baal of Peor, even such an organic march
would not have been able to quench the fierce anger of God. The sin of
Baal of Peor had already eaten away far too long at the
peopleit had become dross. No casting out of demons, no
incantation, no exorcism as with the Gerasenes or Gedarenes etc could
have been of any use against it. Any calls to separation, like Flee
Babylon! would have failed to have an effect. Going out of the camp
would have been of no use. If Moses had pitched his tent even farther
away from the camp with all the people following him, the plague would
have moved with them! There was also no more room for negotiation as in
the case of Judah and Tamar (Gen. 28).
Do you understand what I am speaking of? Judah had been
immorally involved with his daughter-in-law Tamar. When she should have
been stoned to death, she negotiated in religious justice and saved her
life. However, this was impossible in the case of Baal of Peor.
Here, negotiating was not possible, just as with the tribe of Benjamin,
when they fell victim to sodomy, that detestable sin of lewdness, and
to homosexuality and were exterminated by God with the exception of a
small remnant (Judges 19-20). There was only one way
of dealing with this sin of Baal of Peor: Take
all the leaders of the people and execute them in broad daylight before
the LORD, so that the fierce anger of the LORD may turn away from
Israel. (Num. 25:4) This story teaches
us that there are sins, which are cleared only if those who caused
them, i.e., their originators, instigators or ringleaders are judged in
accordance with Gods will. Countless children of God are so
mercilessly bound, simply because they do not actively and offensively
resist the originators of sins. The majority of all these mercilessly
bound ones are enslaved because the preachers do not preach actively
and offensively against such originators of sin and have not taken
action against them. Once that spirit of sexual immorality and lust has
become established with the people of God there comes a point where the
mere Do not touch what is unclean! (2 Cor. 6:17)
wont suffice any longer. Where one has become infested with the
spirit of sexual immorality and lust and is inevitably addicted to it,
the silent proclamation
Depart from Babel! (Rev. 18:4)
7
will not set him free. At such moments, only offensive judgment can
lead to the desired freedom. How this was practiced in the Old
Testament can be found in Num. 25:5ff. Right after
the order, Each of you slay his men who have joined themselves
to the Baal of Peor, we
read how an Israelite man, Zimri, brought a Midianite woman into his
tent before the eyes of Moses and the whole assembly of the sons of
Israel. He was so possessed by his porno-addiction that he wanted to
demonstrate with his action the fact that he would not give up his sin.
When the priest Phinehas (v. 7) saw him doing so, he seized a spear and
drove it through both of them, through the Israelite and into the
womans abdomen. So (only then) the plague
on the sons of Israel was checked. Those who died by the plague were
24,000. (Num. 25:8b-9)
Church Discipline as a Means of Liberation
It is self-explanatory that we New Testament believers will not take a
spear in the hand like Phinehas did to stab any sinner. And yet our
apostle to the nations teaches us in 1 Cor. 5
that all those who have fallen into pornography, covetousness,
drunkenness, idolatry, sensuality etc, and do not repent of these sins,
should be removed from the church without delay. This removal from the
church means the destruction of the flesh of the excluded person, but
liberation and release for those who are excluding such people. Without
executing this judgment, no church will experience being set free from
the leaven of immorality and perverted desires. Certain interpreters of
the Scriptures may hold on to the view that such dealings are not
Christian, however, let us ask, is it more Christian to cause a whole
church to fall into the judgment of leaven and to be handed over to be
turned into dross and thus to death just to save the one who brought it
in and caused it, in order that he alone would not be judged? Let us
consider the way we handle things when an epidemic breaks out in the
country. Do you still remember what happened at our borders and
airports when the lung epidemic SARS broke out? Could one have termed
it unchristian when the borders were closed to prevent this epidemic
from spreading? How do we deal with leprosy or with the plague? Such
epidemics are a picture of the spiritual dross. The usual remedy does
not work hereonly banishment and resolute exclusion of the
contaminated ones from the yet unaffected society. What needs to be
considered is that this judgment Paul speaks of leads to death just as
it led to death during the time of Phinehaswith the only
difference that the apostle mentions: for the destruction of
his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord
Jesus. (1 Cor. 5:5 )
Note that the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly. Today, we no longer carry spears in our hands. With those bearing Gods authority in the New Covenant, just a word is enough, just an agreement, and the judgment is passed directly through the power and the presence of God. The Church is the judiciary, the legal authority of God, which is destined to judge first of all herself, then this world and finally even the angels. Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?(1 Cor. 6:2ff) As of now, due to the lack of executing that judgmentfirstly of self-judgmentthe Church is miserably laid low and many of its members are helplessly bound. However, the hour is coming and now already is when the Church will wake up again and realize its calling and be led back to it. If God had not given us spiritual authority against which no earthly weapon can stand, then a final judgment and a 1000 year reign of peace would never be able to break through. As of now, these judgments are being executed on ourselves within our own borders. However, when we have thoroughly judged ourselves and thereby shaken ourselves free from every form of bondage to sin, God will bring the same judgment on the nationsthrough his Church. No weapon can be forged against this judgment. No magic can help against it, no occultism, no curse, no spell and no swearing of oath. The time has come for the wrath of the Lamb to fall increasingly over whole nations and to judge them due to the obstinacy of their sins(Rev. 6:15-17) 8.
For two thousand years we have become used to dealing with every sin with no more than the blood of Jesus. The thought of the eradication of unyielding sinners seems blasphemous to us and mockery against God, or at least as belonging to the Old Testament and not Christian. However, the way the priest Phinehas dealt with the matter in those days was a shadow of the just judgment, the holy judgment of the wrath of the Lamb. Listen to what God bears witness to and swears concerning that: Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned away my wrath from the sons of Israel in that he was jealous with My jealousy among them, so that I did not destroy the sons of Israel in my jealousy. Therefore say, ˜Behold I give him my covenant of peace; and it shall be for him and his descendants after him, a covenant of a perpetual priesthood, because he was jealous for his God and made atonement for the sons of Israel (Num. 25:11-13).
The way in which Phinehas acted and also the coming wrath of the Lamb is therefore not only Christian but extremely holy before God. Not much longer from now, every preacher who lives under the heavens today and speaks or witnesses against godly judgment among his own will be afflicted and burnt down to the roots. Since they sought to save their lives by not executing judgment and, for fear of losing their donators, sparing the sinners instead, they will lose their existence and their lives and will be judged like those involved in the sin of Baal of Peor.
You, however, who have been yearning so long for
deliverance and do not know how in the world you can attain it, because
the blood of Jesus does not cleanse you, because the power of the
Spirit is not enough, because your faith and your prayers do not help
you in any way; you who have been running from counselor to counselor
in vain, who have set yourself apart in vain and have mortified the
flesh and have fastedyou need to realize that the dross has taken
over and that you can only be set free from your bondage if you
actively begin to consciously execute judgment on what has caused this
sin that keeps you bound.
Be Hostile towards the Midianites!
Then
the Lord spoke to Moses saying, ˜Be hostile to the Midianites and
strike them; for they have been hostile to you with their tricks, with
which they have deceived you in the affair of Peor and in the affair of
Cozbi, the daughter of the leader of Midian, their sister, who was
slain on the day of the plague because of Peor.
(Num. 25: 16-18)
Notice that right after the judgment by Phinehas the spiritual laws of Israel changed once more. Before the case concerning Baal of Peor, there was a time when they could live far from the plague of Midian or Peor, without having to be hostile towards Midian. However, this time was over. Henceforth, God had ordered a constant confrontation as the only way out for the time which was to follow in future.
It is the same situation with us today. There could have been a time when one could live as a Christian in the Church and in this world without actively executing judgment. However, that time is over. Since the pastors and preachers and almost all the spiritual leaders generally have neglected to execute judgment, the spirit of immorality and of lust, the spirit of bondage and addiction in every imaginable form has crept into the Churchnot just into the worldand she has now reached the stage where she has become completely contaminated or infiltrated by dross through and through.
Therefore, with
many Christians today, neither prayer nor separation, neither fasting
nor mortification of the flesh, neither faith nor swearing of oaths nor
exorcism, neither negotiating nor persevering, neither overcoming nor
any other thing is of any help. Now, at this present time and in this
hour, whoever wants to be set free and to live free and to stay free
from Peor must actively be hostile towards Midian.
9
A Word to All Who Do Not Execute Judgment!
Do you live in bondage? You know how bound your life is! And I know it
too, because I know the laws of the Spirit! Let it be said to you once
and for all with full prophetic certainty: Every Christian in this age,
who does not execute judgment according to God, starting with himself,
his house and his church, must live bound. He cannot
be free!
Many years ago, I once had fellowship with a spiritual leader who had nothing in mind but material provision and on the whole to become self-sufficient in every respect. I simply kept quiet, just to be diplomatic, because I did not know what to make of it. After some weeks I noticed how thoughts of self-provision became more and more difficult for me to resist. When they finally began to undermine my very basis of trust in the Lord, I realized in the end that I had been seized by the leaven of unbelief, because I did not convict that self-concerned leader of his sin. What all the prayers and exercises of faith and all proclaiming of the blood of Jesus throughout the past weeks could not achieve was accomplished with a short letter. I distanced myself from this preachers works by lovingly confronting him with his sin. Because of this letter, I have remained free to this day. I could name many similar cases.
Let me be even more specific. With no
exception, every pastor, every preacher, every one who calls himself
apostle or prophet, shepherd, teacher or evangelist and does not
actively deal with sin, first in his own life and then resolutely with
the sins of his sheep, someone like that must inherently be a bound
person. He will be enslaved to the very sin which he did not judge
according to Gods way. Whoever does not bear witness to this is a
liar and a betrayer of the gospel and a betrayer of the truth. He only
speaks this way because he does not walk in the Spirit, does not know
the laws of the Spirit and therefore denies them. Listen,
however, to what the word of God really says when we see or notice sin
and do not judge it the way God says: You shall not hate your
fellow countryman in your heart; (but) you may surely
reprove your neighbour, lest you incur sin because of him.
(Lev. 19:17) Whoever,
when noticing others sins, lets them pass without saying a word
becomes a partaker of their sin. And that even applies to greeting a
person and wishing him peace, who comes along bringing a doctrine that
is not of the truthdoing so, one participates in
his evil deeds. (2 John 11)
You live hopelessly bound in one way or the other. I know that you are
bound, even if its shown in the mere fact that you do not know the
life in the light of revelation and therefore cannot grasp it. For you
remain silent and take defensive action and allow yourself to be
infected and thereby you become a partaker of foreign sin. As long as
you do not fight against your sin right there, where it was sown, you
will remain a bound person. I know that you are hopelessly bound,
because you do not know the walk in the Spirit, and that is why you must
walk
in the flesh. I know that you are living as enslaved, because you are
living without any commitments, and every person who lives uncommitted
to the ministries God has set must be in slavery.
I
know that you cannot have any liberty, because you are not able to
remain permanently in the flow of Life for the simple reason that you
dont have it with you at all. Since you are not living so as to be
committed to the organism of Christ, and in the ways set by it, it can
only be that you are living as an enslaved one. A hopeless wretch! You
are a hopelessly bound person. I know you are, because you do not live
constantly searching as to the effects of the power of the Spirit in
every situation, in order to discern it and to recognize it
accordingly. Since you do not live in conformity with the common flow
from moment to moment, you have no alternative but to be hopelessly
down trodden. You will be hopelessly crushed by sin as long as you do
not separate yourself from everything associated with it in exactly the
way God has ordered and as long as you do not execute judgment on it,
which you can do by observing us and learning from us.
Plow Anew!
Are you ruled, bound and tyrannized by gluttony, bulimia, hedonism,
addiction to sweets, to all kinds of stimulants etc? Stop constantly
proclaiming the blood of Jesus, trusting in faith in the Holy Spirit
and His power to set you free. You will never be set free exclusively
in this way, if it hasnt freed you up until now. I am herewith not
at all speaking against faith, neither am I running down the blood of
Jesus nor perseverance which is often most necessary. Stand up and
begin to speak out against and scorn all those places that
unnecessarily stir up and encourage all kinds of culinary lusts. Speak
out openly to others that these are places that foster sin, because the
lust of eating and drinking has become an idol of our day, which you
are offensively resisting and turning your back on. Publicly despise
the lust of tickling the palate and fight against it.
You live also bound and hopelessly chained to the internet, television, videos, DVD, cinema etc being completely enslaved to the lust of the eyes? Stop wanting to be in control of all these things in a healthy manner, throw the television set out of your house, forgo the internet, DVD, videos and all that garbage that binds you, and fight publicly against it. Wherever you can, name these things in public as sources of temptation and sin and you will see that you will be rid of them.
Are you chained as well to the permeation of sex in this age? Did you know that for years there has been a worldwide conspiracy to promote sex? I will not even make the effort to prove this in writing. I will not name any sources or names, nothing. I only say to you, open your eyes and you will notice it.
Have
we ever asked ourselves why there is no lobby in our houses of
parliament against immorality? It does not exist for the simple reason
that we have kept quiet about this for much too long, and therefore the
permeation of sex throughout the nations of the world has become an
overly immense and almost ubiquitous power structure. And that is
exactly what the conspirators are up to. The whole spirit of lust on
all levels cripples the will of the people, turns them into a mouldable
and pliant mass with which one can do as one chooses. In regard to
this, never forget that mousetraps are baited with a piece of cheese
and live worms are used as bait for fish. When we have all finally been
sufficiently deprived of our willpower and become addicted, then the
hook will pierce through our gills and we will be pulled out of our
home waters without mercy. It will happen just like the ever increasing
taxation on tobacco, alcohol and the tolls on highways. When the people
have come to the point where they can no longer do without cars, luxury
and all these articles of addiction, then the special tolls, special
taxes and compulsory charges will be enforced to such an extent that
one would have to give up his last shirt to be able to pay. How much
worse will it be with all the demonic lusts that are out to enslave us?
When will we finally shake off the yoke of lust by continuously
standing up against it whenever the Holy Spirit shows us such judgments?
When will you finally arise and tear those pornographic posters off the
walls? When will you finally go and take action instead of secretly
gazing at all that filth in public, but rather publicly protest against
them and stand up against the promoters of these things? I know that we
cannot get out of this world and that these provocations are
everywhere, but despite all that there is a limit which we should not
allow to be crossed. Once, when I was at a newsstand buying some sweets
for my two little daughters, there right beside the sweets at the eye
level of the children, pornographic material was displayed. I would not
have undertaken any action, had it been one of those usual magazines,
though they too do not contain anything good. However, from the moment
I saw how shocked my little daughter was as she looked at this picture,
I knew that my hour had struck again. From then on, I began to take
action against these persons starting from the smallest employee right
up to the highest levels of that whole newsstand company. I threatened
them with Article 197
10,
if they did not undertake action immediately. I gave them a few days of
grace to enable them to act as I had instructed. If I had not done that
at that moment, would not have allowed the Holy Spirit working in me to
continue being Lord, then surely, in a way similar to the case I
previously described, I would gradually have been deserted by Him, so
that little by little I would have been undermined by these things and
would have been stained and attacked by them. However, since I sensed
in my conscience that the Spirit put a burden on me to judge that, so I
judged it and thereby could stay pure and untouchable. As long as we
remain in the moving of the Spirit and thus under the protection of
Gods leading, no impurity from the world can defile us. It just runs
off us like water off a ducks back. If, however, we leave our shield
and do not flow with the impulses from the Head to execute judgment,
then there is no longer a guaranteefor anything anymore. Your own
strength will never be enough. Each one of us has a different range.
Therefore, in the future, pay exact attention to how the Spirit reacts
in you, where you are about to be stained, where the sources are to be
located, i.e., the heads of that sin of Baal of Peor. Then, get
started, sit at your desk and write letters or grab the telephone, make
a complaint at the highest levels you can find of those who instigate
these things and demand the removal of the impure objects. Go there and
tear down these things, if they have just been pinned up and do not
tolerate any public calls to pornography fairs and other immoral
activities and events. Believe me, a covenant of peace and of
righteousness will be established for you because of that. What the
mere proclaiming of the blood of Jesus could not achieve, your very
action will be able to. You will be free.
Do the same with
every other kind of bondage and terror: If you are enslaved to a
permanent, deep-rooted individualism, and your live always revolves
around yourself, break out and publicly declare your commitment. Join
our commitment and learn how to live together as an organism. If you
are tormented and bound by cowardice, then consider who could possibly
be the cause of this cowardice. Should you discover that you used to or
still do associate with people who are cowards and have the fear of men
in them, then stand before them once and say in all weakness: I will
have nothing to do with that any longer, from now on I will speak and
act! You will see how free you will be! If you cant make a
decision and are being tormented by constant doubts about a situation,
but know exactly in your heart what the right way is, then tear
yourself away from it in faith and plunge into the waters calling out
thereby: God will be with me, whether I am acting right or wrong, HE
will
deliver me! You will see that your doubts will be gone. If your
bondage consists of being separated from certain people, think about it
and find out, if you have spoken with any person who may have made
negative remarks about the one with whom you no longer get along with.
Maybe you have that same experience concerning me or us, the OCG. Maybe
you have been struggling for years about entering into a commitment
with us, but you are strongly bound, forcefully bound in all these
widespread fears, doubts and concerns about us, our teaching or
whatever it may be. Think back. Was there someone who influenced you by
putting this barricade between you and us? And be it a teacher, a
friend or whoever it may be, even if it was your own grandmother, stand
and face up to her, proclaiming this resolution: From now on I will
only believe what I have seen with my own eyes and what I have received
in my own heart. I will go to my brethren and have fellowship with
them. I will not allow myself to be bound any longer! If you were
split off from us by the demonic slander in the internet, then stand up
against these slanderers, by first of all trusting God and thus
breaking out of the fear, in order to get to know us personally and
thereby putting our slanderers to shame. Tell them what the lies are to
their face and you will be in the glory together with usI mean
the glory in which we already live now, at the present time. You will
perceive it and will never want to lose it again! Do likewise with
every other sin and bondage. If you are bound by the fashion spirit,
then purposely dress like you would otherwise not do and speak up
against all who demand fashion from you that you are no more obliged to
them, that you renounce this spirit of fashion and separate yourself
from it. Your vanity will get wings and vanish from youyou will
be free. Do the same, if you are addicted to alcohol, nicotine, drugs
or tablets etc. Stand up in front of your buddies with whom you used to
booze, to smoke pot or to indulge in any other lusts and addictions,
and who are always aiming to pull you back down into this environment,
and let them know what the deal is declaring your freedom! If you
yourself have been the cause of your downfall, then stand up openly on
the streets and preach against these addictions, against the
consumption of alcohol, nicotine, drugs and tablets. Begin to get
actively involved against it, break up the dross, so that it falls off
of you and you will not have to be smelted by the Lord to purge it away
from you by giving you up to destruction, the utter destruction of your
flesh.
Get Committed
There is a global reluctance and
even rebellion working against commitment; yet I tell you in the name
of the Lord that the time of commitment has come. The time is now at
the door when we will need each other more than ever before. If we do
not learn to live together and work together as an organism during the
good and pleasant times, if we do not grow together being knit as one
now at the present time, then we will not be able to do anything in the
up-coming times of distress.
If in this time that is still left, we do not make the effort of our own accord to use that sharp steel hammer to get the dross off the iron, I am afraid that very soon God himself will be forced to smelt our dross away in the furnace of suffering. Whatever this may mean practically, cannot even begin to be fathomed at this time. However, when that time has come, you will with a shock suddenly remember all my writings, books and cassettes which have been warning of these things for tens of years. It is only, because God is now in the process of piecing together His Church into an organism and bringing her to full maturity, that there is such a dreadful, worldwide fear of the formation of sects.
The reign of God, His kingdom is now at the point of executing judgment through us on the inside. At the proper time, however, this judgment will veer round to the outside. You, all who receive our writings, cassettes etc, who have been watchfully observing our way: get up and save your souls from every form of bondage by executing together with us the very judgment which is according to God. Escape the exceeding bitter cup of the wrath of God which will be poured out over Babylon, not just by leaving Babylon silently and in an outward manner, but abandon Babylon in its very essence and nature and thus judging her together with us. The wrath of God is already at the door and it has advanced far too much for us to still be able to survive any longer by handling things in our traditional way. Only the one who, now, in this time actively executes judgment in exactly the way God has determined will be able to save his soul from the worst destruction. For each and every one who reads this message and does not want to remain enslaved in hopeless bondage: Arise! Bear witness to this message by actively taking your place in the Lords battle array. Take a stand and thus win the war of righteousness.
