The Purpose and Goal of the OCG

A Spiritual Network

At some point in time researchers realized that people can infect each other with viruses and germs. Besides they realized that there is generally some  thing akin to an invisible network which exists between all human beings. This discovery has been both revolutionary and dramatic, because this law of infection, whether it is physical, psychological or spiritual, turned out to be globally effective. The fight against AIDS gives a vivid picture of what kind of problem one has to face, until all those concerned may appreciate and approve of the necessary precautionary measures. However, especially those affected the most are, as a rule, at the same time the most difficult ones to convince that they are to change their thinking and, more importantly, their conduct.

That’s why there is an absolute necessity to be and raise an organically connected Christ generation (OCG) now and to have you join it. The OCG then by now is and conveys this top priority message that, as a matter of fact, we Christians as well are altogether networked with each other, i.e., spiritually networked. The true Christendom does not live as separate from one another in independent organizations; it rather lives as in one spiritual organism. This means that each individual's sin, similar to a virus or germ, affects the whole organism. Just as different contagious diseases differ in their contagiousness, so the same is true regarding sin. There is sin, says the apostle John, which is not mortal, whereas on
(1. John5:16) For centuries Christendom has underestimated this spiritual reality and because it took it very lightly, there wasn’t finally any longer any real separation from sin or those stubbornly living in it.

As a stringent result of this negligence a global catastrophe is brewing or rather is already in full swing insofar as, tracing it right down to its spiritual roots, the vast majority of Christendom has totally lost its spiritual sensibility to the voice of God and His Spirit’s operations. With most Christians there absolutely prevails an epidemic of spiritual blindness, spiritual indifference and spiritual death.

The worst thing about this epidemic, however, is the "full stomach" syndrome which describes the fact that those affected with it think of themselves as being quite alright and who by no means realize that they are infested by this “spiritual virus”. Jesus hit the mark when he described this "full stomach" syndrome in Rev. 3:17-18, "Because you say, 'I am rich and have become wealthy and have need of nothing', and do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire that you may become rich, and white garments that you may clothe yourself and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed, and eye salve to anoint your eyes that you may see."

The commission of the OCG (Organic Christ-Generation) is, as prompted and moved by the Lord, the recovery of this spiritual hygiene as well as the organic church life, both in teaching and practice. For this recovery, though being a worldwide inter  denominational move to restore the churches (not to call out of them), the OCG first of all focuses on the regaining of the Christian lifestyle the organically Christ-lived life–in even the smallest cells in them, that is to say at home in the married life and in the own immediate families or in other healthy groups of living together according to the normative Biblical patterns of the kingdom life. Living organically that is giving and serving each other along with the operations of that life being the life of Christ indwelling us, in contrast to holding sway over the other or making use of him. It is more blessed to give than to receive!

>Consequently, this organic church life, which is to be recovered, rests on our very own personal life lived in truth and transparency, in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Hence, all spiritual extremism and so all division is averse to it. Rather, just the way as our human body is in need of every single organ of it, so we all as believers being in Christ are mutually in need of each other, in order to become built up in the oneness of the Spirit in the uniting bond of peace (Eph. 4:3) as His one Body and Organism. So, the OCG is neither a new denomination nor a movement having its origin in Walzenhausen, Switzerland, but rather it is the outflow of a spiritual reality which had its beginning at Pentecost with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and which now, in our days, is about to find its completion and fulfillment.

Whoever, in his heart, bears this same, the OCG’s burden –as very briefly outlined in here– and whose spirit witnesses to it as being the eternal purpose of God for these last days: may he make the effort to stand in the breach before God together with us and all those He is yet to call out and lead together to establish His kingdom, the kingdom of peace. (Rom. 14:17 + 16:20)
